Early Life and Career Beginnings
Helen Baxendale was born on June 7, 1970, in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England. She attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and began her acting career in the late 1990s. Her breakthrough role came in 1997 when she starred in the hit British comedy-drama series โCold Feetโ as Rachel Bradley. She received critical acclaim for her performance and won the Best Actress award at the Royal Television Society Awards in 1999.
