Casey Wilson is a multi-talented actress, comedian, author, and screenwriter. She is best known for her work on Saturday Night Live, The Hotwives of Orlando, and Happy Endings. Wilson is also the author of two books, “The Wreckage of My Presence” and “Nothing Fancy.”

Casey Wilson was born on October 24, 1980, in Alexandria, Virginia. She attended T.C. Williams High School, where she was a member of the drama club. Wilson went on to study theater at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Wilson is married to David Caspe, a television writer and producer. The couple has two sons together. They currently reside in Los Angeles, California.

Acting Career

Wilson began her acting career in 2004 with a small role in the film “Kicking & Screaming.” She went on to appear in several television shows, including “The Office,” “How I Met Your Mother,” and “Bones.”

Wilson’s big break came in 2008 when she joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live.” She was a featured player for one season before being promoted to a full-time cast member for the 2009-2010 season. Wilson’s most memorable characters on the show included Janie St. Clair, the host of “The Cougar Den,” and Diane, a woman who always has a bad reaction to surprises.


In addition to acting, Wilson is also a talented screenwriter. She co-created and starred in the Hulu series “The Hotwives of Orlando” and “The Hotwives of Las Vegas.” Wilson also wrote and starred in the ABC sitcom “Happy Endings.”

Wilson’s writing credits also include the films “Bride Wars” and “Ass Backwards.”


Wilson is the author of two books. Her first book, “The Wreckage of My Presence,” was released in 2021.
