She is best known for her roles in the TV series “Crazyhead” and “Chewing Gum” and for being the voice of Princess Talanji in the popular video game “World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth.”

Early Life and Career

Wokoma grew up in a Nigerian household in London and attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) where she studied acting. She made her acting debut in 2008 in the TV series “Holby City” and went on to appear in several other TV shows and films such as “Doctor Who,” “Year of the Rabbit,” and “Enola Holmes.” In 2016, she starred in the TV series “Chewing Gum” as Cynthia, a role that earned her critical acclaim and a BAFTA nomination.

Partner and Personal Life

Wokoma prefers to keep her personal life private, but it is known that she is in a long-term relationship with actor and writer Hamza Jeetooa. The two have worked together on several projects, including the 2018 short film “Love the Sinner” which Wokoma wrote and Jeetooa directed.
