Her first acting role was in the off-Broadway production of “Sarava!” in 1970. She soon landed a role in the Broadway production of “Cyrano,” which earned her a Tony Award nomination.

Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Feldshuh appeared in various TV shows and movies, including “Holocaust,” “The Amazing Spider-Man,” and “Kissing Jessica Stein.” She also starred in the Broadway productions of “Yentl,” “Sweeney Todd,” and “Lend Me a Tenor.”
